Report a translation problem
After posting that I found a level 17 req epic helm with 5% damage reduction on it. Scarlet Inquisitor something I think.
So far it seems like this is probably a helm that I will keep for a long time with this character, which I find to be rather boring as this type of game to me is all about getting better loot as you move along and not keeping the same loot that you found in the very beginning of the game
One thing driving me crazy is the switch to DPH instead of DPS for certain attacks. Mousing over new loot no longer tells me if the item will actually do more damage. The tool tip ignores the +damage from the bracer skill so it grossly underestimates the piece of gear you have unequipped.
Thats all i can say.
Energy Spool is fantastic when you can get 3 going at one time without even being on screen with the enemies.
Thaumaturge isn't bad. Still not close to the same damage and survivability as my hunter but oh well :/
Sadly I have run smake into a game breaking bug that has stopped me from playing the Char anymore so I have not had the chance to try void. And to hell if I am going through the really slow and painful lower lvls again.
It's a drop, I got one from the first inkwell, Doctor's bag at lvl 7, also a Ravenwatch Mantle ( lvl 5? cloak) later on, the stupid Priest gave me a Hunter item after completing the new lost gem quest - can't win 'em all ...
I think I got Ravenwatch from that one.
Anyone know what the slot for the second piece of Thaumaturge set is? Still just have the cloak.
Anyone seen an epic spell cuff yet? It's a crazy weak slot at the moment. No analog to the hunters % weapon damage or % damage as healing available as enchants near as I can tell.
Anyone able to get hp on hit working right? I have 7 points of it but I just get spammed by 1 point healing.
There is more than one Thau set: The Conjurer set, the Incantatus Set, and I have acquired some epic spellcuffs as well.
Spellcuffs are the most important piece in a Thau's equipment. To me, they can double my DPS if I choose the right one. Notice that either they give loads of damage or more cooldown reduction - or both! I strongly recommend the passive skill Focus Damage to increase Spellcuff damage by a lot.
Important as they are, spellcuffs still seem to be weaker then hunter weapons. You only get 1 enchant and they appear to lose out on some good enchants.

Huh. Those epic cuffs arent really too great. The Riftnovas are more or less on par with level 29-30 rares.
Hopefully there is a level 30 epic and it has something interesting effectwise.
