giant's footprint

in croakwood there are a pair of giant footprints where katarina comments something about giants comming down from moutains to hunt
so far everything that has an icon on the map it is interactable in some manner, but so far i haven't been able to find anything to do with and i have reached the first point of no return proberbly where act II starts

anyone knows what it's for?

nothing so far, might be added in with dlc as a boss maybe...but it has no real meaning for now unfortunately so you can move on to act 2
