Gallowsbog - Runestones?

Hello, what's up with the Runestones in Gallowsbog? A friend and me have activated 8 of them, which seems to be every runestone in this area. What are they for?

If you activate all of them, it will spawn a boss, at the north east bridge. But the game notices you, when this happens.

Hum, strange. Are there more then eight? We searched the whole map. Twice.

There are only 8 runestones. Make sure you have touched each one; once touched, you can't touch it again, so it is easy to tell. Once all 8 are touched a new quest will be granted (Spirit of the Woods) and you will be shown where to go on the map. Defeating the Spirit earns 400 xp, 1 skill point, and a Bone Relic (worth 2 ability points or 1500 gp, your choice).

sorry for the necro, but it didn't give me 80%+ magic find just now, was it removed in Final Cut?

Yes. The runestones still trigger the Forest demon, but they not provide a visible buff to Magic Find.

btw, Final Cut has its own forum.
