My tip to everyone.
-body/luck = high hp/ high crits
-Katarina luck= Keep her in ghost I find her to be useless in battle. Shes a mf/buff tool.
-Get the %hp on rage use aura this alone heals for 700hp
-Get cleave for aoe dmg havnt tried the others but im lvl 21 cleaving for 900's >.>
-Spells I have is the ethreal cloak or w/e its called and the dash.
-Play hard or higher better chances at more uniques dropping :D

I haven't tried playing on a higher difficulty yet, but she gets killed pretty often in normal as ranged dps. I made a melee Van Helsing with every lifedrain on hit that I can stack, it's working out quite nicely. I toyed with flowing combo, but I'm not seeing a combo... cleave wins.

Playing hardcore heroic, no idea why as first playthrough. Died 4 times already at various parts before finally getting a setup to finally reach the swamp.

Ranged Helsing, body/dex build with Katerina as tank and all points on willpower. I'm not sure people read her character stats: willpower on her is different than willpower on Helsing, as each point on her gives a straight +1 resistance across the board, so its not just physical defense, its fire, lightning, poison, all of it. Pumping body makes her hit harder and take punches to the face with a smile, but when the enemies start throwing elemental attacks, she drops fast. Whenever she's about to die, either drop arcane heal or switch her to ethereal. Just pumping shoot and the fireball AoE on Helsing, when things get ugly just stop time and run away. Prioritize items with +HP per hit and essence slots to get those +10% or more magical item drop rate.

Hotkeyed movement to WASD and use it to kite everything. Cannot thank the devs enough for keyboard movement, keeping a movement key down while taking pot shots completely gets rid of incorrectly clicking on blank space and accidentally going suicide into a mob. Just hoping for a time when all hotkeys can be changed, never used rage buffs with the number keys as too much focus on not getting surrounded by the enemy.

I'm currently going full body on Hard. First playthrough. I just killed Obesovoski and I have yet to die. Except one time in the ink, where I technically died but I had "second chance", so I sill have 0 deaths.
I am using Katarina as a full body tank and buffer. Yeah she dies quickly, but not that quickly.
I am curious to hear suggestoons. Should I dump some points in Luck too?
Is it good to spec Katarina as a full buffer in ghost form?

I pump all my stats on willpower.
Items focus on crit chance and willpower/spellpower.
Seeing lots of huge yellow numbers popping :)

Actives skills on "shoot" and "lightning" tree only.
The rest on passive skill. Lvl 4 in the range tree boost 3% to crit chance.
Great for clearing large mobs. Kite all..

Katerina as melee tank (body stats) with +health per kill gear.. great for survival.

I'm running max Luck with a melee build and Kata in Ghost form, and I find it to be way too easy. I really wish I had done Heroic instead :/

More or less all out Willpower/Spellpower, Katarina is full Luck for mf-.- getting tired of all the rares because of over 200 mf^^. Fireballs critting around 5k with ~30% crit chance and 1-2 dmg powerups, Destruction ray dishing out maybe 750 dps or so without rage power ups, with the exploding on death killing alot also, almost able to channel it non-stop without going OOM. Fun build killing quickly, usually clears a pack in a couple of seconds, the more mobs the better, but might die once in a while due to low hp. Playing on Hard.

I'm quite fine with lightning strike and fire blast for now, you need ridicioulous amounts of willpower and a well equipped tank katarina but it's fairly easy with that build (at least at the moment) during the huge amount of area-of-effect damage.

Yes I know she gives life and mana on hit but I keep her as ghost to buff my own damage, armor, attack speed. The reason why is my rage dumping normal attack heals 700 and my rage cleave heals 300 per mob it hits.

When using flowing combo you don't see combos or does it show it as one big number? Also when using it does it take longer than normal to finish the animation?

I personally got my body to a natural 200% dmg modifier. The rest into luck cause I like to see big ol crits. My current crits are:
-Normal attack 800, Pumped 1000-1600 it varies.
-Cleave attack 500, Pumped 800-1000.
When pumped they heal:
-Normal 700
-Cleave 300 per mob hit

Woops just read it again. I would it increases your chance at getting some epic items :D
