Ancient inkgate

The portal doesn't work.

I've killed the bosses, portal didn't work, gate was still closed so i TP'ed to town and walked back. Gate was open again, still closed when i went through but the portal still doesn't work!
What do i do now?

I must activate the ancient inktgate. (i've completed the bombs and that other one)

this is a part of the main quest, it's impossible to proceed if this is broken :(

somehow after downloading some steam updates, the inkgate just got activated, try it now guys, download update, restart steam then start the game again.

Glad you inkgate is up and running. Mine is still not working after rebooting Steam and making sure IHAV is updated.

I don't know how it affected the game but I just kept on exploring the gallowsborg map then suddenly I got a notification and a cutscene that says the inkgate has been activated.

I looked at a YouTube walkthrough and it seems after killing the four bosses a cutscene is suppose to with dialogue between Katarina and our characters about the Ancient Inkgate, but I never got the cutscene (which is why I believe the portal never activated.)

Tried restarting the game but to no avail. Will try again later I guess.

I have the same issue. The cutscene did not play and the portal does not activate.

There have been no updates..... So any idea about what else you did with the game etc?
I still have this problem eventho i restarted many times. It's kinda annoying since this is a main quest and we can't continue with the story

does not work yet, I just killed the bosses there and inkgate wont activate. No cutscene either.
