Is it possible to use a keyboard and mouse.

for this type of game i pref that style.

LOL how!!!!!! my mouse and keyboard dont work at all.. so i plug in controller and go to menu and only find options for controllers lol

controller support was added not long ago,
if you launch the game with no controller plugged should work
other than that, there is something wrong with the game

The guy who implemented this in such a sloppy way should be kicked out of Neocore. Come on, the hard part that was coding both control schemes (and testing them etc.) is done, now just add something, even if it is a command line switch to select mouse and keyboard without having to disconnect the controller :(

I just tried the demo and I must say if I have to unplug the controller every time I like to play the game I will not buy it.
This issue is not fixed in the full game?

you dont have to unplug the controler if you want to use it... but if you want to use your mouse and keyboard than you do... i dont know if there has been a patch since jan 1... when this thread died lol....

but as far as i know..... it the same way.

There's been four patches since January 1st. Unfortunately, recoding the controller to be selectable instead of default hasn't made it into a patch yet. It's alot more involved than people think. As I understand it from comments made concerning this issue, the interface is determined during boot-up for the game, and controllers use completely different interfaces for everything than mouse/keyboard do. So in order to make it selectable, the interface would have to be separated into the Options and Selection menues and the rest of the interface code (or something similar), then a delay set up to wait to boot all other elements of the interface until a control method is selected.

This game is obviously not made for me. I play Torchlight and Path of Exile with the mouse only and here I can only use two mouse buttons?
I am sorry, if they want to make console games they should sell them for consoles and not for PC.

The 4 other skill slots should be bindable to any mouse button, no?

Not for me in the demo at least.
The game does not even recognize the middle mouse button.

Just checked in the full version, I can bind middle click.

A lot can depend on your mouse as well. My Razer Abyssus' middle button has to be set a function first in the mouse's own setup tool for example.

Oh, it's so hard to unplug the controller. My poor widdle arms just don't have the strength to pull out that nasty heavy USB plug.
Played whole game with KB&M no problems. Stupidest thread ever.
