5) Each item requires a set number of inventory spots on your list. You are limited to 50 "spaces" worth of carrying capacity, and small items like amulets and rings will only require one space on the list, but an armor will take up four of them while a sword will take up three. Economy of space is limited intentionally, they did not forget to remove the mechanic, they just adapted it numerically instead of graphically.
5) Makes no Sense in a Listview, there it is 1 Item = 1 Slot else its a bit Confusing because all Items are same Size in List, no Possibility to see like in Grid.
A sword is not going to take up the same amount of inventory space as a ring. This is an ARPG where space is a commodity and a mechanical balancing factor to gameplay, not a JRPG where you can throw a friggin airship in your back pocket and cram ten swords taller than your character in your backback and call it good.
Also just noticed with Controller the Customize Button is also missing and i still can't Zoom in/out.
Also i still miss a Handbook, i mean c'mon no Handbook?
How can somebody even play this game with a Mouse? So slow, so retarded, so inconvenient...
You know Its a ARPG, not a Point and Click Adventure.
LOl! Does not matter how fast you can move your Pointer with the Mouse - i have no Pointer with my Controller, i don't Point and Click because i play a ARPG not a Point and Click Adventure. And you can't move faster than i do anyway no matter how fast you Point and Click, the Movement is same speed, so none sense!
And btw. i use a SCAV Controller for PC and Consoles, so no Slow Turn or other Annoyances.
And i assume i can click my Buttons as fast as you click yours, my Buttons are optimized for Speed too, not the cheap default XBOX-Controller Buttons, but even with those you can probably click as fast.
The only Games i play with Mouse are 1st Person Shooter where i can take advantage of quickshiftsnapmousemovements or also of course Point and Click Adventures where Controllers are indeed much slower and inconvenient.
But for Games that are 3th Person/Isometric a Controller is simply much more convenient to use.
A Mouse (in this Game) is more convenient for Inventory managment, but well i want to 'Hack and Slash' and not to spend Hours in my Inventory anyway.
Also everything is a matter of Optimization anyway, you can still play a non-Controller optimized ARPG with a Controller, but don't try to use a Mouse on a Controller optimized ARPG because it will become frustrating quit fast because some Movements can't be done with a Mouse and Keyboard.
Especially on Games where you can Move you Character and at the same Time has a free Camera, you are doomed with a Mouse and Keyboard, especially if the Combo's are optimized too, like two On-Screen Wheel Selects with 16 Items each and such Stuff.
My Controller has 17 Buttons (speciality on me one +4 to map to others) and two Analog Sticks for independent 360° Movement.
A Mouse has 3-8 Buttons, has one independent 360° Movement, a MouseWheel to Scroll up/down (good for quick Weapon Select and such Stuff). The Keyboard only provides more Button's but no additional 360° Movement.
This Game does not even have a Free Camera and uses only one 360° Movement, the second has been degraded to select Powerups (a pity because Free Camera would be nice in this Game), if it would be Controller-Optmized, i'm sure it would have a Free Camera too.
Well to close this:
For me a Mouse makes Sense on 1st Person Shooters where quick Aim is important and not so much Buttons are needed, then the precise and quicksnapshiftable 360° Movement is used for the 'Camera' and the not so precise Keyboard Left/Right/up/down and combos '8 Direction' is used for to move the Character. Such Games can be played with a Controller too of Course and it works well because you have two Analog Sticks for independent 360° Movement, but if a Controller-Player would meet a Mouse/Keyboard Player, the quicksnapshiftable 360° Movement of the Mouse could doom the Controller Player. Even with full Sesitivity a Controller can't compete, i tested it.
Or of Course for Point and Click Adventure's or anything else where you must move Cursors over the Screen, because it suxx to move Cursors over the Screen with a Controller, because they are made to play Games and not for clicking Icons... LOL!
For anything else i prefer to use a Controller for it.
Only salient statement of fact in that entire, overblown diatribe.
Controller optimization means that the interface is programmed for responsivity and to reduce input lag, not to log every possible input you could ever imagine, by the way. Digital Download games only very rarely come with manuals nowadays, as well.
If you wanted the console experience of gamepad play with a manual and television optimization, then you really should have bought a console instead of trying to dumb your laptop down into one.
Also nowaday there is no more Difference between TV's and Monitors, TV's are just bigger Monitor's thats all.
I expect a Manual in Form of a PDF especially if i buy Digital Download Games, also 90% of my Digital Download Games have a Manual, no Manual should automatically mean -25% Price, i don't have a nice Package and nothing, so i'm sorry but then at least i expect a PDF Manual.
And anyway its solely my Choice, how and with what i like to play Games.
Then anything said still has not solved the Problem, that the Game was advertised with Full Controller Support but in Reality Controller Support was crippled.

Some of us work with a mouse and keyboard and develope associations with the sensation of using them. Since I work a mentally taxing job with such, I find things more enjoyable with a controller.
Am I the only one?
Indeed you are the only one special console peasant of these forums.
Look Controller's are the best choice for some Games, like Mouse is the best for some others.
But Action Games are better played with a Controller. Period. And this Game is 99% Action / 1% RPG and yeah i played other Classes as Melee, in Fact i played all and finsihed one Character already. Its a typical Hack&Slash Type ARPG and you end up playing it with 1-2 Skills only, using them ad infinitum because the others's are to slow and not effective enough, a typical boring Hack&Slash Type Game.
Especially the Thaumaturge is OP with Controller and with the right Skill, even if the Game has some crippled Controller Support, i clean whole Maps within Minutes easly on Heroic, they don't even come near me...
And only for your Information, i played already thousands of Games on C64, Amiga, PC, NES, SNES, N64, GB's, PSP's, Xbox, Xbox360,.. Before there was Joysticks for playing, they involved to Controllers which finally provided compact Arcadestyle controls, the Mouse was invented to click Icons on Geos, Mac, Windows and the Keyboard is mainly for Typing.
So fact is, Joysticks&Controllers was and are made to play Games, where Mouse&Keyboard was and are made for Typing and clicking Icons not primary for playing Games. Some Games are more like clicking Icons and typing Stuff, they are best played with Mouse&Keyboard.
If this Game would be 100% RPG, well like Dungoen Master, Eye of the Beholder, Lands of Lore and or all those old Style mouseclicking Point&Adventures, i would play it with Mouse&Keyboard, but it isn't, its 99% Action, the only Thing for what i would use a Mouse is the Inventory, perhaps, but once you have your Gear and set your Skills, well its obsolete anyway and the Game turns into a Hack&Slash style Game, doesn't matter if Melee or Ranged also only Hunter has really two Modes, the others are even more limited.
Well, anyway i reported some Bugs and not wanted "that" Question answered. And the Bugs are real, i can't move to certain Skills, Powerups,.. with Controller to buy them. Also i still don't know how to Zoom In/Out with Controller.
