Cheat: Massive Gold & Item Loot Drops

Here's an easy way to increase Gold & Item drops.

1.) Navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing\Cfg\Artifact"
2.) Find the "loottypes.cfg" and make a backup of the file.
3.) Now open the file in "Notepad++"
4.) Open the "Find and Replace" dialog
5.) Select "Regular Expression" and ensure that the ". matches newline" is unchecked.
6.) Enter the following in the "Find what" field:

Gold(\r?\n)*.\{(\r?\n)*..Amount=.*

7.) Enter the following in the "Replace with" field:

Gold\r\n\t{\r\n\t\tAmount=999999

8.) Now select "Replace All".
9.) Enter the following in the "Find what" field:

..Chance=.*

10.) Enter the following in the "Replace with" field:

\t\tChance=999999

11.) Now select "Replace All".
12.) Now save the file.

Now every kill in game will result in the maximum amount of money that can be dropped and several items.

There are some other values in this config that can probably be adjusted to improve the rarity of the drops as well.

Looks like "epic" is the highest value for rarity. You can update it so that kills in game will result in either unidentified epic or artifacts by doing the following in the same config using the instructions in the first post.

Enter the following in the "Find what" field:

..Rarity=.*

Enter the following in the "Replace with" field:

\t\tRarity=epic

Be aware that modifying the files can cause Checksum and Version errors when trying to enter Multiplayer Co-op or Online game modes. This doesn't happen in all cases, but can happen in unanticipated instances.

Though I kept getting drops of lv100 items that I couldn't equip.
