The Igor Achievement

Why? Why does this acievement exist in the first place? Katarina makes it so much more difficult to achieve because she attacks them and the only way to keep her off Igors is to put her in ghost stance. This sucks because I need her help when fighting enemies who attack me. I'm currently playing with a Hard character.
Could anyone shed some light? Should I just try it with an Easy character?

It's your choice :) But my advise is to respec Katarina and use her in Ghost mode.

I still haven't got that achievement *sad* even when Katarina was in Ghost mode... when the mob decides to Zerg Rush me, I didn't even know when my attacks hit an innocent, defenceless Igor

Ghost Mode and Bash coupled with a lot of fancy footwork are your best chance. My last attempt at this achievement, I made it all the way to the Marquis of Soot on Heroic before I slipped and accidentally popped an entire pack of them during an AoE burst trying to deal with the last pack of Shredders. For my next attempt, I'm just going to skip most of the Old Town map and try to bypass the trash on the way to the Marquis. It's possible to grind a few levels in Port to make up the difference.

Frankly, this is an achievement. Don't expect it to be easily accomplished. Very few of the Van Helsing ones are easy unless you try doing them on Normal mode after collecting a set of Epic gear from half a dozen other playthroughs.
