If the haze/blur is worse when moving, it might be your display isn't 'fast' enough to catch up with the graphics card - look up "motion blur". What screen resolution and monitor type/make/model# do you have?
Instead of experience, you get glory. The maximum glory level is 30 which = a total of 60 glory points. In the end the toal bonus you get from glory is 30 so it's exactly like getting 1 glory point per glory level.
GTX650 ti is a good card (for an Nvidia ;p ) and should be more than capable of handling Van Helsing. :) you might want to explore your settings from the Advanced tab of the Options menu. The game as a "Soft Coronas" effect that takes some getting used, as it causes all lightning to diffuse. You can also use the sliders to increase or decrease sharpness, shadows, detail and gamma which may affect the haze effect. Also, enabling or disabling VSync throught he game, and Anti-aliasing or Anistropic Filtering through your video card can have an affect on framerates. I have astigmatism, which causes me to see the game similar to what you describe, and I've found that having Coronas off, VSync on and AA at around 4x provides me with a clean, sharp image of the game at all times.
while i'm here, i hit lvl 30, the xp in the glory section is not moving ... any ideas ?
As mentioned by the others, Glory is gained from doing a Scenario Mode map. You won't gain it from free play in Story Mode, but depending on the map you choose, you'll gain up to half a level's worth in each Scenario. Scenario is available from the main Character Select screen and if you enter the game using that button with a character at least L27, you will be able to use the Secret Lair Inkgate to select one of six maps that have special scenarioes to complete.
Each one has specific goals they require in order to access a special Boss fight with higher value loot. Some of them require you to complete a task before a timer runs out, like Orichalcum Mines, others require you to have a good understanding of character mechanics, like Croakwood which requires you to have enough resistance and Health to complete the scenario without losing more than 50% of your health at any time.
They can be quite difficult at first, but as you gain knowledge of the game and better equipment, the Scenarioes become much easier and will provide a nice, simplistic method of advancement for a given character. Best of luck with them!
