Item farming place

Can anyone suggest me a item farming place/scenario.

I would say Gallows bog or old town has a good chance of decent stuff lots of enemies in those areas. The chest by the werewolf leader in the cave can also put out some good stuff, enter loot, exit game, repeat.

If you can access scenario, go to The Pocket Realm (Level 33), I got many set & above rare level stuff there, I suggest at least 3-4 players because I find that when more player together, the rare drop increases..

There is no one place better than another for farming items, however you will want to farm on Heroic for the best results.

I have to disagree with that. I found in the few hours I have played that, Croak wood has around 400 AI to kill with about 3 yellows and one blue. Gallows bog has about 1050 AI 3 sets of blue 5 yellows, Regular AI's alone, gives more chances to farm. The above is aproximent and based on second play thru ie: farming

When someone is asking about where to farm they're asking for EPICS.

Hard Mode is probably better than Heroic for farming until you have some of the most powerful Epics and a couple of Glory levels. It's not quite as much of a challenge so you can get through the map quicker with a higher kill rate. Depending on your personal luck, you may not see quite so many epics on Hard mode, but you also don't have to worry about possibly wasting time dying. As for location? Personal preferrence for the most part. Different people have different experiences on each map. My advice is to pick the maps you enjoy, or go with Scenario maps for farming.

But that is a catch 22 situation because you need the higher level epics in order to survive on those harder play modes, but it's a lot harder to obtain those items unless you are on those play modes.

What I usually do is take people through and help them and just give them any drops I get

That can be done too and it's a good way to get some good gear easy while spending quality time with a friend, but it's not for everyone. I suggested Hard over Heroic because for the type of player who prefers to do it on their own, they will typically invest the extra time. In the end, each method suggested by each poster works, it just comes down to the personal tastes of the players who take our respective advice. That's the beauty of playing Van Helsing: it does not have any absolute rules, it instead caters to a variety of playstyles.
