One man's treasure is another man's garbage and vice versa.
Also, if it's bad, you can just refund.
Most of the bug complaints are associated with MacOS. There are a couple of situational bugs that need to be worked out, but there are Beta patches in the works that should be seeing release in the next month or so to fix issues.
I'm not going to lie... The learning curve on this game is steep. You have to read your tool tips carefully, and go into the game with the expectations that you're not going to be able to face tank everything without some strategic movement.
Yup. Once you own the three parts of the Trilogy, just follow the directions in the Stickied post at the top of the Final Cut forum.
VV is actually the game that got me curious about other Arpg's.
After an hour of trying all the fixes and following the instructions to guides, nothing worked. After trying every possible solution, I reached out to the community and was told "The problem is on your end, try re-downloading the game 3 times and it should work, I had to do that so maybe try that"
From making custom resolution cfg files to verifying the files to re-installing the DX11 and messing with other stuff, it just made the game even worse. I now know why the game is rated to low, I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. I'll be writing a negative review for sure, there's no reason why I should have to do so much work when this is a newer game that should have been fixed skne time ago. Out of the 200+ games I have on Steam, NONE of them ever gave me a problem, I know it's not on my end as many other people have experienced the same issues as me with The Adventures Of Van Helsing.
I gave up, an hour might not be enough for some but I chose to play it smart and just hit refund. $4.99 could get me a game or 2 that are actually well optimized and I can actually enjoy.
