Prioritization bugged?
It seems that the prioritization is bugged.

If I proritize buildings, this works for these buildings perfectly, but it seems that even if you prioritize only 1 oder 2 buildings, the rest of the industry is breaking down.

None of the 200 units of firewood is brought to taverns, no stones are transported, no carriers sit down at the tavern to eat (so no new carriers will be produced), etc.

Can somebody confirm?

If I prioritize the weapon smith, I would assume that maybe 16 oder 32 carriers are blocked to carry metal and coal, but at the moment it seems that all other 500 carriers don´t do their work as they should. Even if prioritization of 10 buildings would block 200 carriers, this shouldn´t stop the whole industry from working (currently even 1 prioritized building seems to do that).

Some ideas:
- if I could set the (max) number of carriers who are blocked by prioritization, these would do the prioritized jobs and all others would do their standard work
- it´s hard to find the prioritized buildings as there is no overview menu but only the small green flag above the building; green, you see the issue? trees, grass, etc. ;-)
- prioritization should stop automatically after construction or there could be a setting that I decide if only the construction or also the building itself is prioritized

But I´m honest:

If that is the main issue in over 15 h playtime of an early access game... :steamhappy:

I did prio some buildings, for example at a point I didnt have much meat and the tavern was using it all up, leaving none for the provisioner, so I prio'ed the provisioner, worked like a charm, the provisioner got the meat and the tavern worked on the other foodstuff.
All else worked on normally.
And others I did prioritize for a while when I needed some stuff from them urgently. For example an armor smith who was too far from the iron production and I needed armors, so I prioritized him till I had expanded the iron production sufficiently. Again no problem like you experienced.

The provisioner was prioritized the whole game (longer than maybe 1 h) or only for a while?

For a while it works fine, of course, but somehow my complete economy broke down.

If I hadn´t easily resolved the issue (completely zero items carried to the tavern or elsewhere) by just undoing the prioritization, I would say there was something wrong with my economy.

But just after removing all prioritization, they started to carry firewood, sat down at the tavern, new carriers were produced, everything worked fine as it should.

Maybe it´s prioritization on special buildings? e. g. I had it on the military academy, the weaponsmith, treasury, tool smith, etc.

And it seems to be a vicious circle:

Once you prioritize X, then you think that Y should also prioritized, etc.

In sum I never had more than 5 buildings prioritized at the same time and yes, the issue was resolved at once, when I removed all prioritizations.

I prio'ed the provisioner maybe 1-2 hours in and the game is now at about 6 hours without a problem.

The others were shorter, might have been an hour but can't really say.
