Just started playing - meh.
Hey all, I don't mean this to sound like a rip but, the first scene is really hard on the eyes. The female looks like she has an infectious skin disease. You know what, I'm not going to go into great depth on it.

I guess I'm hoping everything gets better because I just laid out my cash for the entire bundle based on steam reviews.

I get it. The first scene is the hardest to do. I also get that the learning curve is probably pretty steep. No-body wants their hard work to go in the trash. I'll just say that hard work is never trash. It's a learning experience. A chance to improve skills. An investment in improvement.

The thing is, you don't just sell a scene because it was a lot of work. What if I said I want a refund on the entire bundle because the Dev couldn't drop the first scene in the trash and redo it? What if I gave a thumbs down on my review and left a scathing comment? And all because the first scene was bad?

I hope I'm right that the first scene was all about learning because, if not, I threw away my cash.

My recommendation to anyone is work on side scenes first. Like walking into a room with a little animation loop going on and the mc promptly exits. Or the MC has a memory or dream fragment that uses an animation loop. Keep doing those side scenes until you can put together a good opening set of renders and animations. The opening scenes should be left on the story board until much later when the dev has had a chance to improve their skills.

Again, I hope I'm right about the dev, rendering scenes in the order of the story, because the next time I play the game, it will too late to get a no questions asked refund on this first installment.

This game is certainly hit or miss for me, and part of that is because of how badly the world and characters get introduced. It's not surprising you're thinking that certain design decisions are a result of inexperience.

Regarding your actual issue... I can't clear things up.
What you can do, is search the internet for "extract rpa", copy the game's files to another folder and extract its rpa files. This will let you examine the renders without increasing your playtime. I think, visually, the game is generally fine.
