I too would like to know if this is possible, I like to have a starter run to get used to the game and then start my 'proper' character afterwards.

What worked for me was going to C: Users/yourpcname/Appdata/LocalLow/WenklyStudio and deleting playerlog files and local save file. Also be sure you turn off cloud sync in Steam or it will just load your last save from the cloud.

Ah nice one bud, i did try looking for the save file, didn't even think to look through AppData, much appreciated!
