NOT IN ENGLISH
Please tell me that this game is relaesed in the most common language in the world being ENGLISH. If so, how can this be done. I do not care if the voice is not in Englisg as long as the sub rtitles or anything that allows us to know what is going on. Ciao

The game menus and text default to your PCs language setting.

Also, there the spoken language in the game is gibberish, there is no translation for it.

Additionally, based on the context, body language, gestures, facial expressions, and tone of voice, you can essentially understand exactly what each character is saying, despite the language being gibberish. No subtitles needed!

Sorry Tex but you have just said what suits YOU. We do NOT find reading body language etc adequate to understand what is happening and as such, disagree about subtitles not being needed. I will sty tuned to my post because if there is no solution to this, I will be getting a refund and honestly would not play this game if it was free. We are finding its "sister" game A WAY OUT to be great so will continue playing it

Looks like this game isn't for you, then. Go ahead and request a refund. There are no subtitles because the language is a made up language, even if it's based on Arabic. The developers have shared that the point was to make you think, to investigate, and to make your own interpretations of what's happening.

This part of your complaint makes zero sense to me. Do you typically only play FPS? I don't understand why you would purchase a game like this that is about really focusing on what's going on around you as a player. With the gestures and body language in the game, it's very easy to understand what's going on. Any person 10 and older could play through the game and understand the plot of the story, including the short little side quests.

Some additional advice: Don't play ICO or Shadow of the Colossus or you'll run into a similar situation.

If that's actually true, I feel sorry for you.

Who is this "we"? Are you royal?
But seriously, that's definitely a "you" thing, I had the game when it came out on console originally, and I had no problem whatsoever interpreting what was happening or what was being said, without needing subtitles. Good luck with your refund, I hope one day you learn to be able to understand body language.

Ok thanks for your comments albeit that some were unecessarily rude. The "we" is my wife and myself which I mentioned but there you go. I do not understand what some of the acronyms mentioned mean but anyway, we persisted and have found that we quite enjoy it. The purpose of the post was because, as mentioned, we are new to gaming so I do not understand why some comments are a bit rude. For those whop were not rude...thank you. We have now learned that these type of games exist which is all a part of the fun I guess. Regards

I hope my messages didn't come off as rude. I'm glad you're both enjoying the game! Even in the original, the cinematics with dialog were done really well and easy to follow, and I think they've been able to enhance those in the remake. Regarding one of the acronyms above, FPS = First Person Shooter.

Voices are just gibberish anyways a made up language, menus should have options of language. their are no subtitles for the game since the language is made up you go purely based off emotions in the game.
