How is thios game rated so high

A lot of the negative reviews are in English, while the Japanese reviews are positive almost across the board, so I guess it might be a good game that suffers from a bad translation. The store page looks like it was translated by someone with a weak grasp on English, what with the typos and strange synonyms.

Good for them for trying, anyway. I'd rather have a bad translation than none at all

It has fewer than 100 reviews and rated mostly by the Chinese... so why care? Spend your time on a proper product.

It's MTL (Machine Translated), so the translation is poor.
The game isn't really buggy, it seems a tad cluttered, but it's a Japanese mobile game so what do you expect?

Part of it's that the dev has a long history of making shockingly excellent games - DeckDeDungeon 2 is one of the most unique and lovely cart battle dungeon games out there, even if the translation's about as good as you'd see here.

OhNussy also has had this game on mobile for some time, so plenty of people whove had it on their phone forever grabbing it and dropping reviews instantly.

Played the game a lot on mobile and yeah - OhNussy games are quite unique in terms of design and mechanics, and well made to play on a phone... ok, I should probably make a review of it in the future : p

For a game of pure combat it's a lot of fun. I played all the wizardry games and this game hold its own. I played it many years ago and beats the ancient King. Let me tell you there are way more contents after that! The game progression is on another level! it never ends!

Hey there! Got any good examples of untranslated sections of the game?
The game had a lot of issues with untranslated stuff or questionable machine translation about 4-5 years ago but these days a solid community localisation effort has fixed nearly everything.
OhNussy is a solo dev but surprisingly good at responding or resolving issues if you can be specific about what you're experiencing.

Looks like the blank text bug was reported and on the list to get fixed shortly in 3.9.3. Hope it helps.

I've been playing the mobile version for years it's a lot better. Not sure why they ported it to PC without workshop functionality.

On mobile, this game is top notch. Even my 2015 potato phone could run it. Why they ported it to PC, I don't know. It's rated high because it's not a short game. "production value" is pretty low, but the gameplay is way, way deep.

I've been playing this game literally for years on mobile. It's awesome once you get the hang of it. People are writing it off without even giving it the chance it deserves, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are they missing out.
