(CANCEL) What shortcut to use to talk to NPC?

Hi, I just started playing again after 3 years. I am having a hard time figuring out what shortcut to use to talk to NPC when it shows there is a discussion available.

The only interaction command I found in the keyboard setup is for general interaction and does not work on starting this dialog. I do not see any other shortcut commands.

What am I missing or not seeing?

Image below shows "G" above the discussion icon but pressing it does nothing

Try resetting the keybindings? It's F by default.

The game was actually waiting for me to do something. Once did what it was waiting for, the game started moving. However, I still do not know if that NPC really had a dialog I could access or not.
