Just a possibility.
my grand old dame evga gtx 760 with 4gigs of ram on the card will actually run the game at 60fps but even after cleaning the fans and the heat sink fins [they didn't have a lot of fuzz in them in them before the cleaning] the fans on the card sound like a fully loaded osprey hovering well above the grounf effect.
ok maybe only loaded half full, but still roaring.
i know the CPU is not having a problem, 4790K i7 and it's got 32 megs of system ram to run in.
so i have liiked in config files for an entry that looks like it might change things, didn't find it.
i used the nvidia control pannel to try to tell it to run at half the refresh rate og the monitor.
i have dropped the refrash rate of the monitor to 30hz.
so far nothing will lower the FPS.
trurning all the graphics setting to lowest at least lowers the temp enough the that fans are slightly less than full blast.
i run fallout 4, black desert, shroud of the avatar, star citizen, entropia and others all at 30 fps.
some of them needed gentle yet firm convincing to slow to such a rate.
so i'm asking just what sweet words i need to whisper in the ear of this game to get it to slow down.
It's like Ark taken to a new level.
