Tier 14 of Black Sun, Red Sand
I seem to be stuck in tier 14 of Black Sun, Red Sand. I can't find the agartha portal that we're supposed to find. According to the direction, distance arrow that the game shows to lead us to our objectives, I should be standing right on top of the portal, but there's nothing there. This is very frustrating. II just keep running around hell, but I never get anywhere. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is this a bug in the game software? Is there anything I can do to escape from hell?

If it's the portal for the region you can always check the map for the portal symbol itself.

Neither of those help, I'm afraid. There is no map for this level and the suggestion to take the portal back to sun city doesn't help because there are no functioning portals AT ALL that can take me ANYWHERE.

Also, no anima wells, so I can't use them as a way out either.

There should be a map... if you don't have one, that might be a glitch.

Oh, yeah, I didn't realize he meant literal hell and not figuratively (since COTSG basically might as well be hell). In addition to what Arkady mentioned, I'd also just check the active missions list, since... you normally don't just wind up in the Hell dimension without reason.

The problem seems to have solved itself. I logged back into the game and everything went back to normal. The portals reappeared, the map started working again, et cetera. All back to normal. I honestly have no idea what happened to fix it. I'm sure it wasn't anything that I did; but hey: it's all back to normal now, so I ain't complaining. Last night and this morning, nothing worked right. Now, it's running fine. Server glitch, communications problem, I dunno? It's all good now though.

Sounds... kind of like something you did because I've never heard of this randomly happening to anyone else, between Steam, in-game chat and the subreddit >_>.

But hey whatever, glad it's fixed.
