Is there any way to play the original The Secret World?

Title says all. I loved The Secret World (the original version) and it was basically the only MMO I truly loved for giving players the experience it deserved. Seeing it go to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as a P2W disaster is really disheartening and disappointing.

So, I take it Funcom is trying to sweep the infinitely better TSW under the rug, or is there a way to still play it? Because as it stands, TSW was far better than SWL. Thanks!

The population is probably less than the number of fingers you have on your hands, but you can still play it.

You can download it from the old website - register.thesecretworld.com should be it.

I see people running around who are not in Sanctuary (discovered the magic of /chat list channel name).....and I'm not sure if that's because they don't know about it, don't want to be disturbed, or something else. But on my friends list (due to my LFG system) there's generally an average of about 4 people during the middle of the day, 3 towards the end of the night, and that's without adding Sanctuary people or the non-chat people. So, I'd say an average of 10 people or more during prime hours. This is better than it was before the second transfer, of course. xD

Well an update on this, but I had like 7-9 people on my friends list throughout yesterday, and at least 3 other people in Sanctuary. We even ran a lair with 8 people and about to attempt again (if we can find enough people). Didn't go to Agartha though.

I'd say at this moment its alright. Lol

What happens when you click the link? I am on Win10 and it tells me it can't be downloaded securely but there is an option to do it anyway.
