How do you disassemble stuff?

Sounds dumb. I'm at a point where I am stuck not knowing how to disassemble items to make the answer to a mission. (Specifically, Gravity, from the Savage Coast, Tier 5)

Pressing Y only lets you assemble/upgrade. Was this changed? I'm just confused. Level 21.

just right click on the quest item

right clicking on blue lens does nothing.
red lens also does nothing.
on the monocle it just equips it from quick access

I have to agree this mission is very light on instructions. I too found no way to "disassemble" anything. However, by randomly clicking and activating lenses in different sdequences I somehow muddled my way through. Sorry I can't be more specific but I was glad to see the back of this one and instantly erased the details from memory.

Same here. That quest pissed me off to no end due to the change in mechanics.

I haven't progrressed yet to encounter these quests again, but when I was on earlier, I went to the "Upgrade" (Y) option on the drop down menu, and it gave me a slightly modified version of the old crafting screen, with a "Disassemble" option. Does that still work for this?

You equip the monocle, which should give you a new ability bar. When you have all the colors, there should be an associated ability. Use the ability to activate the colors: clear, red, or blue, and you'll notice a symbol drift down the screen in that area. You can use multiple abilities while the symbols are moving to try and use 2 colors at the same time.

At least thats how I remember it working.

The best advice I can give when doing "Gravity" is to look at your buffs to make sure your using the right color vision. The abillity bar it gives you is a bit wonky.

You can avoid most of the color nonsense by using a walkthrough, though you'll still need to have all the lenses to get the final vision type (using them both) for the very final part though.

I figured it out after realizing something I did wrong.

1) Equip lens inside amusement park.

2) Put on the red lens, then immediately put on the blue lens.

It's obvious the mechanics have changed since other guides are outdated. Hopefully that'll answer this dumb question. Also another "assembly mission is bugged, called Carter Unleashed".
