Subscription option?

So, the conversion from non-Steam to Steam cancelled any auto-recurring payment options for the game's subscription. Steam's own FAQ says you go to the game's page to select a recurring subscription if you want to do that, rather than having to remember to pay each month.

If you go to another game that has a subscription, such as EVE-Online, you'll see such options on the store page. No such options appear to exist for SWL.

Not saying this is a huge deal, but folks who jumped in with paypal prior to the Steam launch are coming to the end of their last month's payment now.... the harder you guys make it to throw money at you, the fewer people will do so. Might be smart to get that settled sooner rather than later. :)

unless it's changed since tuesday, click the patron button at the top of the game by the menu icon. click the 30 days patron button and do what you need to do with steam wallet. This will set up a recurring sub with those payment details

Unfortunately, I can't verity this until my subscription time runs out... since that button is greyed out if you have active patron status, which I do for another couple weeks as I had been using another payment method until they forced the steam client on me.

It would be helpful if the company that wants our money would spend a little effort to clarify things to make it easier for us to give them our money.

also makes sure your steam overlay has been activated as detailed in the sticky thread. Several people have had issues with not being able to press the sub button in the patron menu. This has solved it for them

Just following up here... I was able to pay for another month of patron status, however despite it saying I was "subscribing" to a "recurring" 30 day plan, the fact that it forces you to fill your wallet manually probably means it will fail to renew next month, without manual intervention.

I guess time will tell...
