However, don't worry; AP/SP is infinite.
Why the cap, though? At present, I see no reason for the cap. I could understand marks or Aurum caps not the SP/AP.
Only The Dreamers know, I guess.
By capping players at a point it ensures if/when something new is introduced you can't buy all of it in a second.
Further, there's no reason TO sit on ap/sp- passive +stat sp ones are always active, as are ap capstones, etc. Spend yo points, yo.
If you have a massive stockpile of skill/ability, then you spend that on the new weapons, then you won't need to play.
It's a player retention thing, by capping you, they up the odds of you continuing to play.
