Wing Choice (Light, Dark or Grey)

Previously it used to be that going 'full good/light' was the worst of the 3 choices due to the wings you end up with being instant heal then 3sec delay damage compared to the Dark wings which was upfront damage followed by a delayed heal.

Is that still the current thinking (it's been a while since I last played)

We don't know how wings will be implemented in SWL yet. It's entirely possible they'll function differently (it's also possible they'll function the same.) The only real downside to gold wings was that it made it slightly harder for someone with them to handle the add phase of the last boss in Manufactory Breached. In theory, it could screw you over if you were trying to use them to land the killing blow on a dungeon boss and the boss killed you in less than three seconds, but that was a pretty rare occurance. I don't think many players who rolled characters after they knew how this worked would deliberately avoid getting gold wings if they wanted their character to have them.

So you would get the electric blue (Unchained) Wings according to the way it worked in TSW. You will be a mix of light and dark. There were no "Grey wings" in TSW BTW.
