Funcom points.

So the FAQ says there will be a way to convert Funcom Points to Aurum, but I can't seem to find it. Anyone have any idea how?

While ingame, click on the aurom icon on the topbar of the screen. A menu opens in which you can buy Aurum or convert the ingame currency to Aurum. Very possible the option with funcom points is there as well.

@Malkar - I really just don't think the system is fully implemented yet, since I saw a lot of people asking about it yesterday and no one had any solutions. I imagine come Monday you should be able to do it, just because the game is "fully" out then and it would be dumb of them to miss out on money-oriented opportunities.

From a total money grubbing jackass standpoint I have already given them the money for the Funcom Points if they don't get around around to putting up a way to transfer them over, it is my loss not theirs, it is technically (and I would bet legally) a different game I didn't buy the points for. The only thing that makes me a little put off is that the FAQ specifically says there "After you have linked your account, there will be an option"....there is no option. I had ear marked those points for extra character slots and stuff like that. I will give it a few days, until the 26th and the official launch.

My funcom points never transfered to Secret world legends, pretty salty tbh ..


What does linking your account do?

When you link your account, you will be able to copy over any remaining membership from TSW to Secret World Legends. In addition, you will be able to copy over some vanity items from the previous game. You can also exchange your Funcom Points for Aurum.

"They say" by that I mean someone commented in chat that a GM said they were looking into implementing the FC Point to Aurum thing. But no definite date.

I have yet to see anyone transfer their FC Points to Aura yet - I simply do not thing this feature is implemented yet. Also keep in mind that bonus points will not transfer.

While it is legally a different game, they also stated explicitly that it would be possible to convert funcom points to aurum and they are legally obligated to provide this way to do it.
I have no doubt it will be done soon (TM).
I, as many others, expect it will happen on official launch, or soon after.

Where the hell was this mentioned? As a lifer, the vast majority (like 7k) of my points are (bonus). It would be a spit in the face of lifers if they didn't transfer.

We haven't even got the option to convert anything yet lol

I tried to talk to a GM on live chat about funcom points transfer, but no answer was granted.

Seems like they don't view this as payment issue. You have to be wishing to give them money to live chat with them. But if you're "asking something from them", they don't care about it at all.
