- The (default) reticle mode
- The 'over the shoulder' mode
Press Alt and then mousewheel to zoom in/out.
I'm talking about how you can't toggle off that the camera is attached to the mouse. NOT just talking about in combat. I hit Alt, and was able to change my view with my mouse, but the minute I tried to move/play, it was back to "my" view tracking with the mouse.
I get that it's a common style. But a lot of games also offer a way to turn it off.
I just can't play that way sadly :( I get sick easy.
SWL is taking the action a step further (somewhat) by embracing reticle mode and being able to use mouse clicks to attack akin to a third person shooter, and really is kind of the entire point for the re-release. It's just that everyone has to use it now.
They said you can still download and play TSW through Funcom website, but not sure if you needed an account already currently, and not sure how long the old TSW will last. We at least know it will no longer be updated.
If you're getting sick in SWL try either zooming in or zooming out.
As for zooming in or out, afraid not. I can't even play Diablo. First Person shooters are Hell. 3D movies are a no. It is what it is. Just color me bummed that I can't try out the new ♥♥♥♥ more.
there are programs and gamepads with software to map mouse+keyboard to the gamepad. you should search aroundthe web
