Also, some rarely to never join voip, so especially with the ubiquity of discord and ts, I'd see even less reason to create their own integration :)
I play Planet Side 2 a lot and it has a great voice feature built-in. Just make for a more interactive experience with other payers you don't really know but are trying to achieve a common goal. That's my reasoning for the idea of incorporating voice chat in game. but yes if you know others in game want more private conversations I can see using TS or other outside of game software.
A lot don't really realize how much this ostrasizes shy people, people with anxiety and other mental health issues, which is a lot.
With outside programs that can do the same thing for raids and what not it is preferable that such features at NOT added to these games. Its very disclusive to certain types of folks.
