I tested this last night. Couldn't get it to work so I'll assume it isn't supported. :)

get xpadder. I think the xpadder 5.0 or 5.5 is free. it makes it so that you can set up your keys to work with a controller. i use it for almost all my pc games: mass effect 1, 2, 3, dungeons of dredmore, guild war 1, 2, and a lot of others. I bought it because i like it so much. $10 if I remember right. was probably the best thing i bought for the pc.

This game involves quite a lot of "pixel hunting" - i really suggest you play it with a mouse if possible
There is a key that you can press to see every "pixel" that you need to hunt. I believe it's either Space or left mouse button. Not sure, but you can press all the keys until you find it. There'll be red circles that pop up on the screen. Like I said, I play with the xpadder and it works great. You can also adjust the mouse speed with your controller if you want too!
