Customization?

This game looks promising, but before I take the plunge, I'm wondering how much customization is in the game. Can you create your own teams, your own leagues, your own conferences, etc? Can I create a custom school from scratch? Can I create / edit all players on a roster? How do you customize in this game? Just trying to get an overview of the customization features.

I'm adding a "God mode" update tomorrow (assuming all goes well), which should add some features mentioned here. With that, you won't be able to create players from scratch, but can edit the names, appearances, and attributes of all players on all team rosters.

When you start a game, you can customize your starting school to your content, editing its location, appearance, prestige, and other attributes.
