A few questions

Hello,
I would have a few questions to ask, as I haven't played for a long time and I may start again with a friend, possibly.

1. No wasd movement? (I guess I can get used to it, but I'm not sure about my friend)
2. Can't change skill hotkeys? (this is a big thing to me :s)
3. No windowed resolution?

you can use arrows but not WASD yet, and skill hot keys are bound to f1~12 but I think with steam you can use 1~12 when you use enter chat mode.

Yeah, hotkeys are 1-12(Alt-F bar) and f1-12 for me, which is not as bad as f1-12 and alt f1-12, still would like to use letters instead 6-12 and f6-12, but oh well. My friend seems to not mind moving with the mouse, which kinda surprise me.

Also, wasn't there an area map a long time ago? So far I'm fine as maps hasn't changed(so far), but when we will get to the 3rd planet, it's going to be hard without an area map as I stopped playing back then around the beginning of the 3rd planet. M to open/close mini map and the button top left of the mini map opens the world map, but I can't find the area map hotkey/button, unless I google for them I guess, which I shouldn't need to do. It's hard sometime to find where my friend is.

It's been a long, long time since ive played Rose online, I really don't understand what you people are saying about all this hot key stuff. Im VERY annoyed right now at the fact that you just cant simply use the friggin 1-0 button anymore in Rose online. Wtf. Anyway I can use the number keys at all anymore for spells and such? Im on a laptop and the Alt+f1-f12 ♥♥♥♥ is friggin STUPID as all hell and very near impossible to acomplish! Please help someone! Anyone! Ughh!!!!

There is no area map hot key that I am aware of. Just the button beside the mini map of a planet.

Hot Keys are the buttons you press to quickly open, or do an action.

The Hot bar, and Alt bar, where you place skills (mostly) and items you can either use f1-f12 or alt+f1-f12, or just simply right click the small block with the skill/item in it.

A few years ago, when I played Rose for the first time, I didn't have many expectations when playing a mmo, but nowaday, key customization is a major thing for me. I mean, I could overlook it if I played for a while, but I'm going to be annoyed until I get used to it.

Thinking about it now, damn. It has been so long since my first time.. Rose was actually the first mmo where my character got wiped, which I'd assume was during a beta phase, of which I had no knowledge of what a beta was at that time, as I was still fairly new to mmos. How sad I was when I returned later on only to find out it was going to turn to Pay 2 Play in a few days. Once it became free again, I started playing again, got a 130+ Cleric or whatever the healer class is and a 100+ Mage , but I forgot my email and etc, so had to start over when I made this topic.

Sadly, the friend I played with when I made this topic ended up prioritizing another mmo, so we ended up playing less and less, until we stop completely. Here to hope I find a friend with interess to play this again in the future when I'm in the mood for a mmo. I still find it funny how my gender for my account ended up as female. I contacted the support to change it, but they asked me for IRL stuffs or whatever, couldn't be bothered, it's just a gender, who cares, lol.

so does this mean i can use the 1-12 numbers, not the f1-f12?
