I don't know if it solves everything, but try going to the Properties of Ragnarok > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

This will download some files that are missing and probably solve your problem, it solved mine at least.

I'm not sure what problem you think this will fix. Perhaps the people who can't even run the game, but not the people with swapped genders or lag or disconnects from the server, or failure to connect to the patcher.
I verified my cache this morning and it found 10 files to download. But I wasn't having problems actually playing the game before.

Yeah, I was talking more about the 3d3 (I guess that's the name) problem, wich it solved when I verified the Cache, and maybe the ai.lua error that Jeia said? Well, it's just a suggestion to see if it helps.

Whenever i verify integrity of game cache. there is always 5 files with error and re-download everything

Of course this happens... Every time you run the game the patcher will download newer versions of some files if available. So verifying will display you some "missing" file message because it's comparing your files with outdated versions.

CM Oda, i followed the instructions on that AzzyAI. I was able to see my vanilmirth for a few seconds then it started the AI.lua error again

Have you ever configured Lua into your system path? I don't think so, but if you ever did this, you will need to undo that in order to play. Lua has nasty compability problems between nearly all of its versions, and configuring lua in your system path will make ragnarok use a Lua version installed in your system, not one that comes with the game.

Sadly, I don't know if i did anything on lua thingy. I'm guessing no because this is the first time I got lua issues in my PC. I kind of did something though:

- deleted the whole AI folder
- pasted default AI folder
- pasted this AI I found somewhere http://www.4ltf2.lintbox.net/AI.rar
- pasted AzzyAI in USER_AI

Then somehow it worked. So far, 30mins of gameplay, didn't get any lua issues. Will update if I get any again.

BTW rpzky, I just installed RO from the warpportal site, not from steam, in order to get those AI files. The AzzyAI was an extra. Apparently, they need to update the files on steam.

Oda, could you tell me why the main menu screen looks like a grid with some tearing?

Hmm now I got another problem. there are times when I change location, my character gets stuck and can't move while the others can. I can't character select as well. I need to wait like a few minutes in order to be able to move.. I guess I'm gonna have to give up on RO in Steam sometime soon and download the dedicated IRO client

That one is actually simple. It means you clicked before it finished loading.
Just click outside the screen and you'll be fine.

Edit: And also, most of the time i get disconnected everytime i change maps.. :(
