Okay i looked at it, well if u run a game and run dxdiag it should show your geforce, since sometimes systems use the onboard card for prozesses that are not to intensive graphic wise, since nowadays they are quite strong and can handle some pressure. otherwise i believe u can select them from your nvidia settings by right-clicking on your desktop :))
so what u need to do now is follow the link i gave above in the opening post and download the file i mentioned there. If u did that follow the steps, to activate your direct draw hardware acceleration and u should be fine :)) if not come back and tell what happened :))

Пробовал ставить драйвера и Директ... Ничего не помогало, реневал запускался отлично, а вот классик не хотел. Нашёл простое решение - "Setup_Classic.exe" -> правой кнопкой свойства -> совместимость -> WinXP SP3. Появилось меню выбора разрешения экрана и запустился в полный экран.
Anyone have any ideas? R9 390X, updated drivers, latest directX (dxdiag shows all is well), though I *do* have Windows 10. Currently running anything RO XP SP3 compatibility.
Thank you for sharing the solution. It worked for me on a clean install of Win10x64 and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080.
