Otherwise, here's my recommendation:
- AGI/Dex Knight or Crusader classes (Good HP pool, accomodating skillset (2H Quicken/Spear Quicken), and HP recovery saves potions.)
- Thief classes (High flee, low maintenance - unless you're aiming for a bow Rogue)
- AGI Monk (recommended!) (Self buffs, self-heal, and comes with Teleport ; low cost and high survivability in grinding)
hmm well i never made a monk before so that seem interesting and of the theif class which do you recommend? do i might make a monk what a good place to start training a acolyte?
edit: btw how should i put my stats?
For a monk, stick to Payon; Either the caves to the north with undead things [That receive damage reductions/bonuses from your anti-undead/demon passives] or the forest to the east. (Although that one's a bit crowded)
There are a lot of builds for monks, I've found they can be really tough to stick to if you don't have adequate gear. Eden group's questline will equip you with some pretty decent stuff now, although the newbie academy is a pain.
My recommendations would be either for agility, as a combo monk primarily.
Try to balance out str / agi / dex in a 2/2/1 or 1/2/1 format.
Vit is mostly an MVP and tanking build. With both builds, if you -want- some int, you can. However this one it's a bit more viable.
Str / Int / Vit / Dex - In my personal opinion. 3 - 1 - 3 - 2
Check out the class section on the main page regardless, each class is able to hold its own now since renewal. Mages and priests I'd say are most difficult because of specific restrictions in areas they level well; Simply because of their playstyles. Assassins are still fairly solid and majorly popular along with hunters.
Recently I've taken a shine to playing a bow rogue. ;3 Hope you have fun in RO.
heh im in aldebaran clcktower with 2 gloves and some unslotted items >_< i got lucky and looted a sidewinder which im using on my bow rogue. yeah heh its a very cheap class till u can farm mobs that drops more expensive things to vendor
These signboards are, unfortunately, in the super-crowded room of Eden. Head north and look for the signposts sitting in a line of each other. That is, after you register yourself with the group at Headquarters, of course.
