Is This Game Worth It In 2023?

Is this game worth it in 2023? I played it like mad way back in the day when it first came to NA and loved it, but it's been so long not sure how many people still actively play this game and how many are just afk selling stuff in town. If it's still worth coming back to, is the steam version the way to go or does everybody kind of flock to pservers now?

the game is still pretty fun, it has the mobs and constant updates, perhaps, the zeny currency is really destroyed, most of the things are up to 10M or more and well, if youre f2p, expect to be in a hard trip.
Overall, if you want to play the game casually without worrying about your equipment that much, play it, if you're going for a more PvP thing and getting a little more grinder then dont play the game

Ro is easy to return to and still fairly active for a dead server it is fun to play casually its only like a 5gb install and supports multi clients. The game offers a lot of content for character diversity and still looks great for a old game; WoE is still sumwat active and if you had a small group of friends could control a castle fairly easy on chaos.

I personally would wait until the new content of 4th class comes to N/A though before id play it more then casually though. The server chaos is very laggy for a N/A server im USWest. Hopefully, when 4th class patch drops they can get another re:start server going and maybe pick up a few streamers to help float a 2 year Woe Scene for all the fans of the IP before a chaos merge.

I reccomend playing Ragnarok, Ultima Online, Albion Online, and WoW for classic MMOs. I suggest playing black desert, new world, final fantasy, wow newest expansion, albion if your looking for a newer title with a lot of active guilds.
