Ragnarok Classic screen size HELP!!

Me and my friend have both had this problem. We try to load up rag classic, the patch process goes fine and we're able to start the game, but it opens up in a tiny little window with no way of resizing it. We've tried fiddleing with Setup_Classic but to no avail. It also doesn't give us screen resolution options where it should, only a blank drop down bar.
As long as we're on the subject, I'm also not able to use the full screen options for either classic or regular RO. It comes up with the message "Cannot init d3d or grf file has problem".

Are either of you playing on laptops with integrated video cards? If you are receiving the cannot init d3d, it could mean that a video driver or direct x needs to be updated.

I keep forgetting windows 8 sucks for program compatibility. Thanks for the help ;)

In Library... Ragnarok... (right click)... Properties... Local Files... Browse Local Files.
You will access the content of RO.. find the 2 exe programs that have the word Setup... like setup.exe.
Execute them both... set your normal resolution and set it to full screen.
Setting them to windowed will cause graphics mode conflict with Windows 7 and 8.
