Please help!! - DYING TO PLAY!!! errors i cant fix currently.

plz see pics. after the loader is pressed play, i get these errors

- Unknown file version (Ragexe.exe), and then......
- unrecognized game client cannot continue.

i literally just downloaded

you need to go back to a previous patch until they fix it, no issues while playing tho. Go to Https:/choobs.org/stuff/patch.php and change server to renewal and whatever server you're on. Choose patch number 4742 and download the file then copy it into the main folder. Then delete the Ragexe.exe and run the game. It will patch again and you won't have an issue. Will prob need to wait till they fix the issue

I just tried this and it didn't work...

Just installed it and got the EAC error "Unrecognized game client." These were my steps...

1. I went into the steam game directory and installed EAC and then rebooted. (Unsure if this helped)
2. Open patch2.txt and scroll to the very bottom.
3. Each line appears to be a new patch number. Start at the bottom and go up, looking for "_Ragexe_" (ignore the lines with // before the patch number)
4. Get the patch number above that.
5. As mentioned above, go to https://choobs.org/stuff/patch.php
6. I changed the server to chaos (renewal) and put in the patch number. Mine was 4786 since 4788 contained _Ragexe_
7. download the new file.
8. I renamed my original ragexe.exe and added .bak on the end.
9. Relaunch the game from the shortcut. I launched the game and the EAC and it worked.

Note - did want to update this. I got to the academy and the game did crash for what its worth.

Yep. I followed that guide and able to play.
But after that, i got error when i go to 1st warp portal.

Cannot find file : Sprite......./cardinal_32.act and spr

i go back to patch 4742 and redownload patches
