Idk if they plan on controller support or not, but on the beta server, they have moving around controller friendly (holding down an arrow key to move instead of having to click to move)
And this is no WOW or FFXI... That you could play with a controller but because of the 300 skills you have makes almost insane..
Here we got what? 20 skills at most? (5 each element, 5 actives)~ done
a xbox controller has
lets say, you use one stick for movement, you will move only one square at time, and the dpa for direction
Movement and direction done
Then you have 4 Buttons, 4 triggers
Each trigger modify the 4 main button, giving you access to 20 different buttons or skills...
eg.
ABXY (unmod) = (Bar 1) 1 2 3 4
ABXY + L1 = (Bar 1) 5 6 7 8
ABXY + L2 = (Bar 2) 1 2 3 4
ABXY + R1 = (Bar 2) 5 6 7 8
ABXY + R2 = (Bar 3) 1 2 3 4
Now we can move, change direction, and use every single skill any character can have
The other Stick we can use as mouse like for targeting spells...
Start and select, one bring the menu (start)
select... can... do whatever I can pretty much play the game now!!
its not a replacement, but agument to current controls, we will use mouse/keyboard for chat, and clicking stuff and distributing points..
its not so hard
