Game logs me out randomly and regularly. Is this common? Is there a fix?

I frequently get booted from the game back out to the sign in menu screen. This happens at random. sometimes I'll play an hour or two without seeing it. Other times, it'll happen three times in a few minutes.

The first time I try to log back in afterwards, it says "Error: Account already in use." After that, I can relog fine, and be back where I was. Can I fix this?

MAC OSX 10.9.4, custom settings at minimum.

I've never heard nor had this error occur to me.

This is literally completely guess work but it could be a few things I guess.

1: Your internet connection cuts out for a split second.
2: This is a MAC OS exclusive error. (Joy of running the least game supportive OS)
3: A bad game install or bad drivers. (Though you likely have a laptop so bad drivers is rare)

The only logical things to try really is to delete your local files of the game and reinstall it or to try updating your drivers.
Obviously if it's a networking issue aswell that could be looked into multiple ways.

I have the same problem sometimes with my account, when I logg in via steam. Never had this problem with the normal wakfu launcher. Do you also get the message "disconection (inactivety)" or something like that when the game kicks you out?

Someone suggested the other day (though I can't remember what thread) for some of the problems people were having, to try from the launcher window (before you press play), up in the top right corner go to options, and try checking the option for "Use the Java version provided by Ankama" that seems to have fixed some of my stability problems - so far at least! Dunno if you all have the same settings on OSX though =)

From the Wakfu website =) Just keep in mind that you won't earn steam achievements if you use the Ankama version - and if you only created a steam wakfu account, you probably won't be able to log in - not sure how that is working.

Forgot to mention I do not use a MAC, so I don't think it's a MAC OS exclusive error. Shindria, thanks for the tip I will try it asap and hope I don't get the same problem again.

No issues with other games online. Connection is stable throughout play. Can load internet pages without fail while in game.

Here's something else, as it was mentioned above. I have an account with Ankama, when I made the Steam account. I can use it to log into their web page, where I can buy stuff (if I wanted). Those login details don't work when trying to log into the game without using Steam.

Region is Western. Guess I'm stuck playing this way.
