WAKFU

Wait what ? I have to register and cannot use my STEAM account ?
So I remember to have played WAKFU before, and my review was very positive,
now I installed the game again and wanted to play, but it requires an account ?
I do not remember to have made such an account, and in my email accounts, there is also no registration for such a company/Wakfu.
I must have played with my STEAM acc, but cannot do it anymore ?
Okay, I really wanted to look back into the game, but now I am no interested anymore.
I will rework my review to negative.
Goodbye forever.

Try to login in the ankama account manager with steam and add an email to your account, that should be enough to make your steam account into an ankama account and be able login using both ankama's launcher and steam's launcher.

Sadly Steam accounts are a mess, i had no idea now YOU NEED ankama account to log in in the steam lancher now.

What ? No ! I am not messing around, STEAM alone can already verify my identity and assigned me Account infos, as you can see from my Avatar. I will not add anything to any other company to increase my vulnerability - because the more companies know your email adress, the higher the chance, it will get leaked and then used against you. I play only games that automatically identify me, by my STEAM user ID. Not goint to mess around.
What is even the meaning of STEAM if you still have to go to some unreliable website of some developer and feed them more infos about yourself ?
It would be stupid to do that. No thanks.
I deleted the game from my favorites, edited my review to negative and will never again consider playing a game of this company, no discussion.

People knowing your email isn't making you more vulnerable. Unless you use the same password for everything you're fine and just being paranoid.

Alot of companies do this and just run the game through steam but verify accounts through their servers not steam and that's just how it goes.
