as Carolus Magnus said, dofus have tons but tons of content as well a bit more easy leveling than wakfu, dofus obiously would be more alive than wakfu since its the "old brother" offer you more options and active community, not saying wakfu isnt an active community but if you look at both, you will find dofus its fair more played.
i left dofus however for 3 reasons, however i feel the most heavy reason WHY i left and stopped to play dofus was:
-Every month feels like "the flavor of the month" because character balancing thanks to the constant complaining of the community, as well always buff devs favorite classes. back in time was really annoying have to restat and redistribute your skills everytime your class get a nerf thanks to PVP, and i not even into PVP! i made my char only for PVE but thanks to the complains my char was affected.
the other 2 reasons were (but these are more personal reason than something to said). but if you wanna know:
-graphics: for some reason i found characters graphics better in 1.29 since 2.0 made them looks a bit femenine
-monthly fee: i honestly the time i played dofus i regreet it spending a lot paying my monthly fee to play something and not "astrub and the 2% surrounding.
the strong point of dofus its the amount of stuff you can do there its way bigger than wakfu. if you play actively wakfu probably you will reach lvl 200 quick,
Wakfu however made me feel like dofus in the good times and probably a good f2p system, boosterpack allow you to play the new areas but once a new area its released the previous one becomes accesible to you, classes here feel way balanced than dofus and when they do balancing, unlike Dofus, you dont feel really affected with those changes.
honestly i liked more wakfu in many ways than dofus, PROBABLY the only thing i dislike from wakfu its that most of the world feels square (like minecraft if you know what i mean) and probably like every area feels kinda small due the world its flooded, thing that in Dofus i liked how big its the world there.
But probably its a thing they would change in a future, i mean they already did with astrub.
Without doubt i would say wakfu worth more to play than dofus.
