I NEED some desperate help...

i know that the update was a while ago, but after the new sadida kingdom update, i for whatever reason could not play wakfu, i redownloaded it, tried the steam and web version, but whatever i do i just cant get wakfu to play... can someone help?

Hello, can you be more specific how it fails to launch?
e.g. whenever you press "play" button in the launcher, it briefly shows "launching..." and then nothing happens etc.

In general, make sure your computer satisfies the requirements such as Java environment (using JDK instead of JRE if you're on Mac OS X, etc.).
Remember any changes on your computer before/after the Wakfu update happened and revert them if possible.

Game/launcher logs would be helpful as well. They should show where the game fails.

well, it goes like this, i press play, then launch, and after that, LITERALLY nothing happens, but for whatever reason it shows that its running.

My steam version also broken, stuck at "updating" aftter fresh install. What solved it is downloading the standalone wakfu.zip from official website (1.9GB).

if you're all wondering it went something like this: if it doesnt work on steam, delete wakfu in steam and download it from something else just not steam, you might have to restart everything though. you wont have your characters i downloaded from wakfu, just make sure to make a account on wakfu so you can play the game then. you're gonna need it,

or you can install OpenGL 1.3 in the requests of the game that has worked for me

in case you were still wondering what the french guy said, it was somthing int he line of create a support ticket they help you right away which they kinda do, the support is not bad for this game
