Amakna Truffles.

I've reached level 21 in farming, and have still found 0 truffles. My strategy is to plant a bunch of artichokes, wait for them to mature, seed 1/3, cut down 2/3 for possible truffles, and then use the seeds to replace the harvested artichokes. I've been farming right outside Astrub city. What am I doing wrong? Why haven't I found any truffles?

Hello,

As far as I know, the only Truffle bread (Desert Truffle) grow in a map called Ohwymi. You need to be level 75 in Farmer to harvest them.
Since you are level 21 Farmer, you might want to farm Cawwots instead. They are usually found in Singing Fields, Amakna unless someone take them all.

If you want ONLY rare (green-rarity, shining) crops/herbs/woods, you'd better to repeat "harvesting seeds -> waiting to fully-grown" sequences. Rare or not is decided at fully-grown stage on every time.
Rare one spawns at 1%, so you plant 100 artichoke seeds (or you harvest artichoke seeds 100 times), you will get at least one Amakna Truffle, you know. aah, yes, maybe. 1%. what is 1%??
