Hello folks,

I have noticed that some of you are currently having problems connecting to Wakfu. Usually I would recommend first making a support ticket to see if Ankama Support can help.

However, below are the recommended steps to take when having issues connecting to the game:

The first step is to verify that no current maintenance is happening on the WAKFU servers which would explain why you cannot login: {連結已移除}click here.

If the servers have no current maintenance and are online, you may then use the following solutions to try to remedy to your situation:

• First to try to disable your firewall (while closing everything else connected to the internet) to see if it is a firewall issue.
  
• Then make sure that the following ports are open: 5556, 5558, 143 & 443 (TCP).
  
• Reinstall WAKFU by making sure to restart your computer after uninstalling the game.

i found a fix to everyones solution.

Its easy,
if anyone has ANY issues with wakfu simply locate where the file folders are inside team, go to the main wakfu website located at http://www.wakfu.com/en/mmorpg.
After doing that you must then download the the wakfu client from the main website and download and install the full game.
The last step to this is simply delete the steam made files for the game, and replace them with the normal game client ones you downloaded from the site, bing bang boom you are back in the game. Cheers gentlemen,

Exactly which files are the Steam made files?
I did a copy paste of the client directory folder into the steam directory folder and it didn't fix the issue.

same problem, it happened without warning just bam disconnect then i cant get back, it is either i get a "connection to the server cannot be established" or the ICB infinite connecting bug.

this thing doesnt seem isolated. it needs proper attention and FIX

@Kobi - I wouldn't hold your breath. Its been almost 4 months and my problem was never fixed, AND tech support dropped the ticket. And this has supposedly been a recurring issue since release basically. My advice would be to not spend too much time and energy on the problem, you'll most likely just end up more frustrated and be no closer to a fix as was the case with me. You can try the fix NephewCz posted, but I had no luck getting it to run myself. GL getting better results though.

@Ecliptix i ve got my problem solved, after countless attempts to connect, and couple reboots and reinstallations, i just miraculously got through, it connected then everything went back to normal. THERE IS NO REAL FIX but once you get through, it is back to normal.

its really a shame that there's no proper fix to this other than an ambiguous "JUST KEEP TRYING, IT WILL CONNECT EVENTUALLY". =[

I have the same connecting issue and managed to fix it. The sollution is quite stupid. I have waited at the connection screen for an hour. I just pressed enter for no reason and guess what? They let me into the game. Don't know if its just for me though.

ye same problem here, but when i reinstal game itry to click tutorial before game updated to max.. and i can play, but when game is fully downloadet i can connected - infinite conection isue

Days since wakfu won't work:30.
I really Don't know why this as been like this for a while now. It should've been resolved by now right?

Problem I am running into is simply "Authentication Error!" with no other details. Will be filling out a support ticket soon, but it appears to be Region specific but the options screen doesn't provide the Regions tab to change it as detailed on the WAKFU forums. Not sure if it has to do with the Java Version on 32 bit Ubuntu installs. Further research shows that this isn't the case though as other 32 bit installs don't seem to have the same problem.

I keep getting to the point just after selecting a character, it says it's creating the character, the graphic in the centre of the screen spins for 20-30 seconds, then I get booted back out to the login screen where I click the Steam icon again - it usually tells me I'm already logged in and kicks me back to the login screen again. I click it again and go through the same procedure which alsayw lands me back at the login screen. Rinse. Repeat. I tried this dozens of times last night and today. I tried disabling anti-virus and firewalls. I tried deleting some of the game files, and frequently had Steam verify the cache. It frequently re-downloads a small file when I do this.

Anyway, I don't really care if I get Wakfu to work, I was just going to try it out since it looks interesting. I have zero investment in the game, and can not be bothered to wait around for a fix that looks like it's months overdue already. I'll check back someday and if it's fixed I'll give Wakfu a try. If not, well, I have plenty of other games that like it when I spend my money on them. :)

Well, I did that already once and it didn't help. May be a Mac issue fix but it's not working for me. I've just tried it again and now it's giving me an error saying "Wakfu did not shut down correctly" in an infinite loop until I reset the launcher. Then it went to character creation and . . . right back to the login screen just like it did before.

Thanks for the suggestion, though. :)
