That can also help. If a confused noob can do it, you can too. Like get the train one, then get the one where there are two girls and you are sitting; both are pretty recent. They are AMAZING, like movie-like quality.
Once you start knowing how to play downloaded scenes, then you can slowly learn bits and pieces of how to manipulate and create scenes; just focus on being able to play scenes, and the nitty gritty stuff will come slowly over time
Manually editing models, i will assume you have a saved an appearance.
Edit mode - green mouse cursor - select the name of the person or character under the atom menu - select control - select appearance presets - click the select existing button in the upper left corner - select a thumbnail appearance. Character model should load your saved appearance.
The appearance preset tab also allows you to save how a model looks in one scene so you can use it in another.
Had the same question. When you're in a scene and you see someone you like, click Edit Mode (not VamX UI), and then click the icon over to the right that looks like two people. Click that till it highlights the person you want to use. Then click Appearance Presets. Create and type in a new preset name, click the green Create New Preset button.
When you're in a new scene and you want to use the preset you created, click that same two people (green icon) till it hightlights who you want to replace with your desired character. Then, select Select Existing up at the top (over to the left). It will replace the scenes default character with the one you saved previously. Keep in mind, these will not always match up perfectly with how the original scene was created.
