Can you easily delete a scene?
In the non-Steam version, it is really involved to delete a scene or something you have downloaded from the HUB. Is it easier to remove something that you have downloaded in this version?

It's not "easy" to delete a scene, in that there isn't an in-game button to do it. Although it is very easy to delete scenes in Windows file manager, once you get the hang of it. All packages are named starting with the creator name, and you can see both the package name and creator name in VaMX (and often you already know them as the package is named the name of the scene).

To delete scenes you need to manually delete the .var packages that contain them (var packages are stored in your VaMX/AddonPackages folder).

To see all of your packages (in-game) open the Virt-a-Mate menu (Toggle UI in Desktop mode, or menu button on VR controllers) then press the top middle button that looks like a cube to open the package manager.

To delete things you will need to manually delete the files, so you need to know your Steam Library folder.

If you haven't moved it, it's at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam
Which means your var packages are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\VaMX\AddonPackages

If you did manually set a different Steam Library location, you may already know where you put it, or you can find this in Steam -> Steam (top tab) -> Settings -> Downloads Tab -> STEAM LIBRARY FOLDERS button.

The .var file is merely one of the files we downloaded right? Because I see most scene have many files/dependencies in the size of over hundreds of MB but when see the AddonPackages the .var file itself is merely few MB. Meaning deleting .var file itself still left behind many redundant files used by the scene?

Yes, deleting the var package still leaves behind all the other packages. You wouldn't have any idea if you need to delete the other packages as they might be used by other packages. Occasionally you might want to start again, you need a list of the default packages that come with the game, then you could delete all others, just put in the var packages you want, and hit download dependencies again in Virt-a-Mate. I'm adding that list as a text file in the AddonPackages folder for the next release.
