Are u sure it's a sub? The outcome if you fail says "enemy bombing raid." That would mean planes, right? However, if there is a sub, could you mention where it is and when it appears?

Bumping this post. I am absolutely stuck on this. I attempted this about 8-11 times. After 3rd attempt, I started staring at one direction in the sky. So I have stared at about 6-7 different direction in the sky...no planes at all...

"enemy bombing raid" keeps making me think it was the planes I am not seeing. I thought there might be too much clouds that I cannot see the planes hovering above them...

Dev's post makes me wonder if it was a submarine? That might be hard to find...going to check now...

Wow this is stupid. I spent about additional 10 minutes (random finding attempts anywhere) and bingo I found enemies in the air? well I dont see anything still?? This watchtower mission need to be fixed.

My successful finding attempt was ~1 boat length behind the ship. This ship is left corner of where your carrier is heading. The enemies are aircrafts but they are invisible. I scouted at horizon area. You will be manning AA gun to shoot down 1 bomber plane.

At the end of the mission where you fail after about 1 minute, there is a huge wave of bombers incoming. You need to zoom your binoculars at 2 o'clock.

PS: If the planes are invisible, try putting your draw distance in the configuration window to the maximum setting ;)

Draw Distance is at maximum! invisible planes still! But I managed to finished this with my random binocular attempts...just took me a while lol.

Cool for you, I confirm that this is the only watchtower mission with invisible ennemies

I am stuck on this mission aand can't get past it :-( I spot some survivors in the water at about 9 o'clock horizontal, but can not find any of the bombers - after a while it tells me I have failed to spot the incoming raid.
Somebody said they are at about 2 oclock but i have looked repeatedly in this direction and can't see them :-(

Sunseeker, I know the mission you are talking about. If I remember correctly there might a recon plane or two, to the front of the and to the right.
