Hello there, fellow Tacticians!

First and foremost, we wanted to thank you all for playing during our Closed Beta in June!

Around 900 players joined us during this Beta, and many of them shared their feedback on our game. Thank you once again for all your thoughts and ideas! These are incredibly helpful to identify what currently works, what we need to improve, and what we should focus on next.

Our main goal with this Playtest was to test our new gameplay changes, which we’ve recently implemented and mentioned in our last Dev Blog: moving from 5 to 3 Champions per team, adding dynamic objectives in the Arena with Pillars… and we’re pleased to see that you’ve liked these changes!


Now that our Beta reached its end, we can share some interesting stats…

• Our most played Champion during this Beta was Jorn, who has been picked in 312 games, including 235 games with his Eternal Warden Persona!
  
• You might have felt it during your games, but Champei - Earth Avatar seems to be the most powerful Persona of our Beta, with a 58% winrate ! Our balancing team is taking a closer look at her…
  
• Your games lasted an average of 14 minutes;
  
• The first player to take an enemy Champion down only won the game in 46% of cases !

We’re currently working on two key features, which we had been planning for in our roadmap and which many of you have been asking for while testing our Beta:

• An item system, which will allow you to further customize your Champions and invent unique team compositions;
  
• The single-player campaign, which will allow you to discover the universe of Skygard Arena through varied missions.

Hello, Tacticians!

We are thrilled to announce that we are launching a 3-week Beta playtest for Skygard Arena! The game will be playable from June 10th until June 30th.

Click on “Request Access” on our Steam page and you will receive an email from Steam once you have been accepted into the Beta.

Last week, we mentioned a number of improvements and changes coming to Skygard Arena and we promised to give you a chance to play the new version of the game very soon… There you go!

By playing the Beta, you will be able to:

• Complete the new tutorial to quickly learn the basics of the game, including the new Pillar system and the new Persona feature;
  
• Build your own team by mix-and-matching 7 Champions and 14 Personas and try multiple combinations;
  
• Try different strategies to defeat the AI;
  
• Battle friends and foes all over the world in fast-paced 1v1 15-minute matches!

We will post a daily leaderboard featuring the top 10 players with the most PvP victories.

We absolutely love to receive feedback from our community and strive to continuously improve the game thanks to your inputs.

The team is working hard on major features and pieces of content that are currently in development and will come into the final version of the game:

• 5 more Champions, bringing the roster to a total of 12 Champions / 24 Personas;
  
• A complete single-player Campaign, enabling you to dive into the story of Skygard;
  
• Multiple items granting game-changing effects to Champions, to allow for even more customization and theorycrafting.
  
• A full-blown rank system for our Arena mode (in-game leaderboard, tiers…)

Besides sharing feedback, make sure to spread the word about the Beta to your friends and your favorite content creators! As more players playtest the Beta, we get more valuable feedback and data to create the best possible game.
