Difference between Painkiller HD and Painkiller: Black Edition?

The storyline... It's rebooted, I kind liked the new story... Gameplay is amazing haha

In short
PKHD - runs on unreal engine, has coop (local - split screen and online), and way fewer maps than original game
Painkiller Black Edition - Painkiller + Battle out of Hell - maaaaaaaaaaaany maps, runs on engine different than UE3, no coop

sorry sir, but this is a huge BS...something that goes beyond the subjectivity or personal likings...something like textures quality and dynamic lights (just to name 2 of them) are objectively better

The trouble is, those enhancements are not consistent or particularly well implemented. Granted some levels look quite nice, such as the trainstation, but several of the interior levels look horrible now. As for the Enclave, where you meet the Necrogiant...who the heck signed that off? It wouldn't be too bad if there was an option to disable the overused bloom (for example), instead we have a slider for gamma and, um, that's about it really.

Compare PK HD's graphics to pretty much any other FPS from the past few years and they falls woefully short. Just my opinion. Obviously. :)

really I thought it looked quite good I liked serious sam and well I dident really like serious sam 3 to to much but I thought this looked quite good I liked the PK:BE demo but I thought it was well I dont want to say I am a huge graphic nut but I ussaly like games that have decent to great visuals

In the advanced graphic options you can tweak almost everything...and also i feel that you are giving inexact feedback to people who don't know the game, first because in your first post seem you are talking about graphic fidelity, now you are talking about the graphic impact in the "enviroment" of the game (that is something completely subjective and i respect this) and second because you say that the graphic options are only a gamma slider and that os false...

we are not talking about gameplay...i only pointed out something that i think was incorrect...the gameplay is almost identical (luckly) to the original...maybe only the fall speed (after a jumo) is a little bit increased, but i could be wrong, it's been a while since the last play on the black edition

it's an unreal engine game...what else you need to know? the graphic is better than the original, it's not a stellar game but it's a fairly good looking game (imho) and due to the frantic and fast gameply this is a plus since a solid frame helps you in experiencing the game better..

I wasent asking about the graphics I was asking about the gameplay and I just got off of BK:BE and i dident really like it and I was really looking into this version of the game got a RADEON HD 6870 would that be enough to handle it

Where are these advanced graphic options you mention? If I have overlooked them and I can tailor the graphics to better suit me then of course, I take back everything I've said. All I see under Video Options is a gamma slider.
