How do the DLC levels "work"?

I just got 2 level packs, "Demonic Vacation.." and "The Clock Strikes.."

While I can start in the first level of each DLC, Town or Monastery, it seems weird that the other 2 levels should be locked/unlisted. I'm assuming they will unlock as soon as I reach them--haven't done so yet, though.

What I find even stranger yet, though.. is the "City" DLC (the one I didn't get) is split into 2 parts with 3 levels each, and yet only 3 levels come with it! Anyone know why that is?!

Is something messed up with my downloads, or is it supposed to be this way?

Dumb question, I know. But I just wondered if anyone else noticed the same thing.

And last but not least. Probably the developers don't care anymore, but this thing needs to be finished! I ask too much probably because I think the game doesn't JUST need "Babel", but it also needs "Hell"! That was one hell of an innovative and creative level.. I get chills thinking about the first time I saw it! I don't care if it doesn't fit with the new plot (which is nonsense/crap).. just polish it up and bring it back. Nothing is supposed to make sense in "Painkiller" anyway!

I think overall, the project is great--I mean Painkiller in HD with modern lighting? Can't complain there. But it's marketed and assembled in such a crappy way. It needs to be complete, and payment should happen once.. stop the damn microtransaction stuff!

Yes you can unlock level when you finish the previous one and hit next level.

You missed zombie bunker, heaven's above, "demonic vacation", city critters, all of this dlc add sp levels.

ps. in your library i don't see the demonic vacation dlc, I think you don't have it. Another think if you like sp you also need all other dlc for the survival levels.

The project is finished with latest patch and the release of the SDK.

I definitely have Demonic Vacation. In my Library, I right click on PK:H&D and Demonic Vacation is listed as "installed."

Should I try to contact The Farm 51 about this?

While I'm at it, do you think the City Critters and Zombie Bunker are worth buying?

I know with the sale they are cheaply available, but the problem I have is philosophical. I just hate micro-transactions. That's for Smartphone ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games, you know? And here I am buying levels that should have already been in the game.

What do you think about it, man? Just wondering.

Do you just buy up every Bundle possible, or just buy games randomly when there's a sale? :P
